No point in saying this anonymously, so I'll say it here instead: Thank you so much for encouraging me when I was nervous about participating in the GOE exchange this year! It helped a lot. And it felt good to know that you were participating as well (these anonymous prompts left me feeling like there was nobody else I knew, and that would have been a very lonely feeling, if it hadn't been for you)

Oh, Fox. Thank you so much. *hug* ♥ I'm glad I could help, and that I persuaded you to take part after all; I really do love your fics and the GOE is a wonderful thing. (Sadly I haven't read the GOE fics for the past three or four days due to the following reason, but I will once this clears up.)

Funnily enough the GOE is one of the things causing me stress; I had to request a deadline extension and I've already gone beyond THAT. I will only say that it's very long, but at this very moment I am finishing it up (I hope; it's a monster of a fic, growing and growing) and then hopefully I can send it to my betas and then to the mods, and there's one less stress factor... and then I've got a couple of things to write for a writing workshop I'm attending that I've been putting off due to the GOE fic, but hopefully those won't be as bad (although they're for publication, hopefully, so stressful in their own way). Nothing I can do about family stuff, and I'm horribly nervous about uni next year and trying not to think about it. But thank you, this does mean a lot. :) *snugs* ♥

This year's once again wasn't sweet cuddly cuteness, though ... but I enjoyed writing it!

Time was tight this year. At one point I was worried, too, but luckily mine wasn't that long and the last scenes practically wrote themselves, so in the end I still managed to finish in time and do Yuletide as well.

Shhh, just remember that, if you don't manage to get something published this time, you might next time, or the time after that. It's not like everything depends on the story you're writing right now. *hugs*

That's awesome! :D Very little of my fic wrote itself, and I had to do a bunch of research on rather odd stuff and... my main problems stemmed from something that would give too much away, but I'll probably post about it after the reveal. XD

I know, and thank you. *hugs* It's just that... how many times does an aspiring writer get a chance like this, where people tell you they're putting together an anthology/e-zine and they want YOU to write something and if it's good enough it WILL be published and you will be paid? I want to make use of these opportunities... but most of today was spent at the hospital and I am tired. @_@

My researching powers failed me at one point as well, but I ended up changing the plot rather than keep looking (and in the end found it anyway when it was too late).

Aww. XD At one point I spent ages flipping through a book I had, trying to find one particular page... THEN I remembered I had the e-book and could just Ctrl-F and find it in a second. I was so furious with myself. XD

Ha, I doubt that. XD It would just be nice to be known as an author [and Egyptologist] or something.

No, I'd have stuck with earlier time periods than WWII, unless the recipient specifically asked for it.

Yes, that's pretty similar to what I did. I was looking for more detailed information on a particular person I'd found mentioned in two different books - under no less than three different first names (but it was quite obviously the same person). So I checked Wikipedia for all three names - the last name's not exacty rare: All three existed, none of them had any mention of the event I knew him to be connected with. After changng my plot I had the idea to google the man's last name togeher with that of another involved with the event and its location: Bingo! There was a whole free online book. All the details I could ever have wanted ...

Phew! (Those aren't usually at the hospital here. Hospital to me signals 'emergency' or 'surgery', so my frst thought was that someone in your family had an accident.) Sounds annoying, but hopefully he medicine will take care of it.

(Ahh. No, in that case I'd have said we had to rush someone to the hospital, or mentioned the Accident and Emergency unit. ♥) It is annoying and I'm usually in a lot of pain every month (plus it might cause infertility or complicate pregnancies and I would quite like to have children one day), but yeah, hopefully the medicine will take care of it. :D

Yep, this time you've caught me. :) (Gabriel's role is rather small this time, I admit, but the prompt called for Aziraphale doing Crowley's job and Gabriel wouldn't have approved. ;) )

Hey, it's not Google's fault, if I search for something as imprecise as a Neil Campbell - and twice not its fault, if I try to find him under Colin Campbell or Nial (first one's probably due to that author reading Col. as Colin when it meant Colonel). Once I told it I wanted the Campbell that had something to do with Napoleon and Elba it delivered just that.

(Heh, 'I might be infertile' might be a good way to get rid of unwanted suitors, though. ;) )

Oh dear. XD That's odd though, if I see 'Col.' I assume it's Colonel. But yeah, at least it delivered exactly what you wanted once you specified the terms. :D

(HAHAHA! XD Well, I've hardly got suitors lining up anyway - did I mention my sister's engaged, though? - and it's only a 'might' and not a 'high possibility' or anything, but that is true. XD Though hopefully that problem won't turn up for the next three years at least, and my parents know I have no intention of settling down anytime soon and would much rather I get my degree and a job first anyway.)

Haha, yes, it's her longtime boyfriend. They haven't done any of the traditional Hindu engagement ceremonies yet, but he asked the question privately with a ring and she accepted, so we're just waiting to formalise the engagement. :D (And I like him. He's always been nice to me - when I was 12 and ill with dengue he sent me a get-well card via my sister, I've got a couple of birthday cards from him since then, and he is awesome to my sister. Heck, he's rushed her to the hospital once or twice due to asthma attacks, back when she worked late hours he'd go meet her and walk her home, and every year on her birthday and Valentine's he sends flowers. Also, his early Christmas gift to me this year was a book voucher, so I told my sister, "If he's trying to bribe me, he's succeeding!". XD)

Well, yes, I would never have thought of it as a Gabriel fic. o_O XD It's a GO fic after all, and Aziraphale-centric, and I wanted to hug him.

... well... it's been a fairly rocky on-again off-again relationship, and really, my sister's quite harsh on him, but they seem to have worked out their issues by now and are sweet together. :D

I am really really glad I met you too, and that I made that post about Neil Gaiman which told you I was also Singaporean. XD And it's completely mutual; the first half of this year (and beyond, probably) was bad, and your constant support meant and still means so much to me. ♥ And I've said this often enough, but I'm still not sure how I'd have gotten through the A Levels without you. And yesss, the jokes and RP have been awesome. :D

Of course I will write back! ♥ And hopefully I will be online, so we'll still have LJ, AIM and Skype. :D
