HP fic rec!

This story is poignant and beautiful and funny and makes me sad, with the thought of what might have been. ;_;

It's called Scenes from Another Life and shows Harry meeting Ron on the Hogwarts Express and arriving at Hogwarts, interspersed with memories of Sirius's reaction to finding James and Lily's bodies, proving his innocence to the Ministry, winning custody of Harry from Petunia, and how both Sirius and Remus brought Harry up. I highly recommend it.

That author has done so many awesome Harry/Draco fics - some heartbreaking, some crack-y - and some really good Ron/Pansy ones too. <3
