I was thinking more along the lines of the question being creepy ('enhanced' frisking, in a school mostly full of underage kids? Skeevy), but I'm pretty sure some of the answers were also creepy. Not to mention the procedure itself (see third and fourth paragraphs)- it's a violation of body space (articles found via Jim Hines' blog).

Two different concepts: Strikethrough, the sudden permanent suspension of a variety of journals based on interests that could be related to child porn/incest- looking at it now, I think I was thinking more of the second wave, when

ponderosa121 got TOSsed (for a Snarry pic that was sexually explicit around the underage/of-age line, as far as I can gather). Who was a HP fan, or in other words a fan of the Harry Potter series.

If you don't mind me asking - I know of the first wave, which was, IIRC, pretty indiscriminate and incited a lot of complaining - but what exactly happened with the second wave? Did they start targeting fandom comms?
