What the potatoes have in store for me

Yes, I did just Photoshop that especially for this post. XD
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the superstition where while peeling apples, if you peel it such that there's a long unbroken piece of peel and you throw it over your shoulder, it forms the initial of your future spouse? I was peeling some potatoes today and decided to try it with them for fun. However, I didn't get anything in English! XD
First I got the Hebrew character Dalet. (D)
Next, I got the Hebrew character Caph. (K/C) Unless it was meant to be a sideways U.

Finally, with the longest piece, I got a character which I recognised as Arabic but since I don't know Arabic... this chart informed me that it was either Iam or nun (but without the dot on top, for the latter). Or a strange cross because the stroke on my right was definitely longer than the one on my left, but it was a bit too wide for a normal Iam. It really did look a lot like nun without the dot. So apparently I'll end up with someone from the Middle East.

Or it could be a really weird U, again, or a J. Or maybe potatoes just aren't cut out for this (no pun intended) and I should use apples next time I'm bored while helping in the kitchen. XD
