Another Gabriel ficcy
Jul. 11th, 2009 04:31 pmFollowing what I'm beginning to think of as the Reflections arc, about my Good Omens role-play character Gabriel.
Disclaimer: Um. This interpretation of the Archangel Gabriel belongs to me, but of course the idea of him is far older. The same goes for the ‘original’ Uriel, but this interpretation of him is based heavily on
divinepresence’s interpretation (aka hopeakaarme from FanFiction.Net - go check out her fabulous A Hundred White Feathers!). The references to Heaven and Lucifer borrow heavily from Neil Gaiman’s Murder Mysteries and my own earlier oneshot Reflections. And the current setting… belongs to the Bible? I always have trouble with disclaimers when writing about the angels.
( In the beginning, there was a Garden... )
(Aaand the last bits seem so cheesy it’s a wonder the paper I wrote it on isn’t falling apart from sogginess. Help? Gabriel is a bit of a drama queen in this one, in my opinion, although Silverfox thought it was fine, so maybe I'm just being harsh.)
Reviews and concrit would be muchly loved. :)

Author’s Notes: On Gabriel’s fears here – this is the Beginning, and they really don’t have much to compare such feelings with. Also, I think that at this point of time there was still a certain degree of innocence present. I thought it would make for something more interesting to write about, anyway. Also, there is no slash implied here. ;) And I write weird things at 2AM in the morning. Just a warning.
There was originally meant to be another piece preceding this, called After the Storm, companion piece to Reflections (go back a few entries, or try the good omens tag or the fanfiction tag), but my beta for AtS is currently unavailable and busy and I don't like to go poking her for it. ;)
Beta'd for me by the lovely _silverfox!
