Writing - Master List
I've been on a cleaning/organisational frenzy at home since my job contract ended, and clearly it's extending to LJ. I thought I should try to collect all my fics (the ones I'll admit to, anyway) together in one place. I suck at ratings, so if you think something should be rated differently, please comment saying so. :)
Bear in mind that the earliest stories are most likely not all that good; I started writing fanfic in 2005 and I was only 12 going on 13 then. And that there is a fair amount of slash (male/male pairings: the pairings are stated clearly, so if it offends you, please don't read), and some of the role-play entries may be friends-locked (however, if you add my RP accounts as friends to read them, I will add you back ASAP).
HARRY POTTER
Patrolling the Corridors - Lily/James, PG, 2006. The new Heads are patrolling the corridors to look out for miscreants. Lily tries to figure out why James has changed so much, but doesn't quite get the answer she expects.

Socks - Dumbledore-centric, PG, 2007. When Albus Dumbledore looks into the Mirror of Erised, he does indeed see a pair of thick, woollen socks. But he also sees the giver.
Unfairness - Remus/Sirius, PG13, 2007. Ever since the age of four, Remus's life had been fraught with unfairness.
Forever - Lily/James, PG, 2007. James often wondered what he'd done in his previous life, to be blessed with such a wonderful one now.
Invincible - Fred and George, PG, 2007. I thought that if anything happened to him, I'd feel it too, and vice versa. But I was wrong.
Orphans - OCs, PG, 2007. No-one cares about orphans. No matter how many of them die.
Accuracy - Remus/Sirius, PG13, 2007. No-one could pinpoint the exact time when Remus and Sirius became Remus-and-Sirius, least of all Remus and Sirius themselves.

MISCELLANEOUS
TWILIGHT - Let me explain! For a couple of sad misguided months, I was a Twilight fan. I actually read all the books twice, though by the time I finished the fourth book I was going WTH?!. This oneshot features a Twilight fangirl who wants to meet a vampire and then gets eaten; both Twilight fans and Twilight haters enjoyed it.
Death of a Fantasy - OC, PG13, 2008. She has always loved the Twilight series. She longs to meet a real vampire. But when she finally does, she realises that perhaps not all wishes should be granted.
ROLE-PLAY/ORIGINAL FICTION
Note: RP fics are hard to categorise. I play the Archangel Gabriel and the Crown of Satan Belial, as well as James Potter and the Egyptian goddess Bast, and, briefly, the villain OC Primoris for an RP plot. I started with Gabriel, who was derived from the Bible and Neil Gaiman's Murder Mysteries, and heavily influenced by Good Omens and The Sandman. Thus, most RP fics feature references to events or characters from those fandoms; a handful of them can truly be classed under 'original fiction', only drawing from history/mythology. However, when other angels like Michael, Uriel and Raphael are mentioned, they're usually based on my fellow roleplayers' versions.
(This was my main role-play community; I played Gabriel, Belial, Sister Mary and Primoris, and, for this thread only, Drugs.)

Your tag system is good. :D (Mine's... well, clicking on 'harry potter' would give you every entry with HP fanfic, but it would also give you every entry in which I randomly mention something Potter-related, every book meme in which I even mention Potter, every entry made to mark a character's birthday, etc...) But yeah, a master list would be awesome to keep track of all your fic and art. :D

Heh, thanks. I've never sat my butt down long enough to make a Master List *been meaning to for aaaaages*, but I figured it would at least be second best to do the tagging. Hmm, my tag system also got better once I split my journal into one for writing and one for personal entries. But if you want to avoid something thaaat drastic, you could always make tags like "fanfiction: Harry Potter", "fandom stuff: Harry Potter", "fic recs: Harry Potter" and so on to differentiate things. *has clearly given tagging waaaay too much thought* XD
But yeah, a master list would be awesome to keep track of all your fic and art. :D

HELP
Everytime I try to edit this (since I realised I forgot something) the text in the text field is one solid mass of text with no line breaks and the LJ usernames are all over the place. I have to separate everything and there's no way to get line breaks between LJ cuts without switching to HTML and back, so after a few times of doing that I tried to switch back to Rich Text and it just wouldn't let me. Is there any way of switching back to the old version?

You can try switching your site scheme to Xcolibur then back to whatever you have and seeing if it's still an issue.
Unfortunately, I don't really keep track of most of LJ's new adjustments. If this problem persists, you'd probably have the best luck opening a support request.
