I am totally in love with the Twilight
series!!! So far I've finished Twilight
, New Moon
, and Eclipse,
and shall be starting Breaking Dawn
I cannot even begin to say how much I'm addicted to those totally hot vampires. The story has me totally under its spell. Edward Cullen is, like, the perfect boyfriend! I seriously envy Bella Swan. Then again, considering the number of murderous vampires she's had to escape from, perhaps I don't envy her that much after all.
Anyway, in the book Bella's seriously clumsy. I'm also quite clumsy, but when I first read Twilight
I thought, 'At least I'm not as clumsy as Bella is'
. Kismet set out to prove me WRONG. I mean, I always do fall down somehow and get hurt, but the number of scars I've collected in the past couple of weeks, since I thought that, is ridiculous. Who gets scratched on a door edge, for crying out loud?!
The sixth Harry Potter
movie moved from Nov 21st this year to July 17th next year. I'm not complaining - this means I can go see it for my seventeenth birthday! Plus the Twilight
movie has moved into its slot!!! On November 21st - Edward Cullen, here I come!!! The trailer rocks! My exams end just before it, too, so I can celebrate by going to see it. :DDDDD
Anyway I just took a test that says what sort of food I am (through a link at my friend Dheva's blog). I took the Sandwich one and lookie what I got! It actually describes me pretty well. ;P Even though I hate peanut butter.

You are incredibly creative and at times, quite messy.
Deep down, you are a kid at heart. And you aren't afraid to express it.

Your mortal enemy: The Club Sandwich
Out of curiosity I decided to see what sort of cake I was. I LOVE CHOCOLATE CAKE! Although I doubt I'm that addictive.

You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality.
People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.
I had my English O Level Oral exam yesterday and I think I screwed up! :(
Before the actual Oral, we had to sit and wait. I had Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata
stuck in my head. o_O Oh, and I was reading Eclipse
, the third book in the Twilight
series. Then Sreeganesh next to me started whistling the tune for the old Addams Family
cartoon and that got stuck in my head. <_< While sitting in the waiting area we could see the examiners, and it seemed like there was this huge guillotine behind them!
Sreeganesh kept burping; he was practically burping every minute for hours! Randy and Tania and Ranjini and everyone were complaining. I think it was nerves, but I was overcome by a giggly fit and kept giggling everytime he burped. Definitely nerves - I do NOT giggle normally.
I was freaking nervous; I felt like puking. Then my turn finally came after two hours, and I had to sit in a chair and study the given passage and picture for ten minutes, and as I held the paper I could see how badly my hand was shaking.
Then the examiners called me forward. Now, under normal circumstances, I talk very fast. Especially if I'm feeling a heightened emotion, like anger or happiness or excitement. So I was scared I'd rush during the exam. First I had to read the passage out loud, and I went fast. I kept trying to make myself slow down, honest, but I could hear my heart thudding ludly at, like, 100 per minute, and I was really nervous. So I kept trying to make myself slow down, but it didn't work the way it normally does. At least I managed to keep it expressive.
Then there was the picture discussion. The picture showed a bunch of kids and two adults (women; the scene was like that of a playgroup) playing. Please don't ask for more details, describing it once was bad enough. I stumbled a bit but I think
it was passable at least.
Now comes the
conversation segment. Now, as I've mentioned before, I plan to become an archaeologist and author. I find business boring. So when they asked me something about what sort of business I'd run and how I'd run it, I was shocked. I asked if writing and publishing them was counted, then I waffled on about how I'd write something about fantasy and/or mythology, because as a child I'd loved mythology. I talked about how when I was five I found this Norse myth, the legend of Balder. Then, *winces* I actually started telling them the legend of Baldur. I stumbled over it because I was so nervous. And then I saw them exchanging glances, and I saw the expression on their faces. So I lopped off the ending and was like, "Anyway, so yeah, I loved that, and I also had this book of Roman myths." and left it at that. They asked me a couple of other business-related questions then, and I stammered through. I think this is the first time in my life the Oral examiners didn't tell me, "Very good," as I got up to leave.
I am so screwed
for my Oral marks!!! I really have to do well for my written papers. :(
I'm having my Preliminary examinations now, and then I shall be having my O Level papers. So I may not be able to update this for a while, unless I feel like uploading a quickie fic. Namarie
. (Elvish for farewell)
